Temporary road closure during lead service line replacement work on Van Buren Street Monday, Feb. 2

City water crews will complete a lead service line replacement on Van Buren Street, resulting in a temporary road closure, tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 2.

The area impacted by this temporary road closure is:
- Westbound lane of West Van Buren Street, from Grand Avenue to Limit Street

Neighbors are reminded to be aware of crews and equipment when traveling in this area. There are no expected water shut offs during this work.

Crews will start this lead service line replacement work by 7 a.m. and expect to be completed by 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, with the temporary road closure ending then, too. This work was previously scheduled; however, it was postponed due to both weather conditions and other, higher-priority water work.
